Yesterday was a day for cutting lavender. I don’t know when you’re supposed to cut it, apparently when the flowers are at their most saturated colour. Anyway this summer has been really weird, all rainy and humid, so I got mostly nothing. The little lot I did manage to harvest is now drying on a shelf next to the dining table, casting a wonderful smell in the room. I wonder What I should do with it once it’s dry.  Can you eat lavender? Or would it be like eating soap?

Anyway, above, a doodling project turned into snow berry project.
